Cuyahoga Rail Excursion
Join us a for wonderful experience in Ohio where we will begin our day with the bus departing from the Carnegie United Methodist Church parking lot ,415 Washington Ave., Carnegie , Pa.

Our first stop of the day will be a ride on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad for a ride through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The historical train ride is one of the longest and oldest tourist excursion railways in the U.S. A park ranger will be on board to give our group the “Voices of the Valley “tour. The train ride is from Akron to the village of Peninsula/ Hudson Ohio.
Hudson, Ohio is a picturesque pedestrian friendly town built over 200 years ago based on the traditional village green plan. You will enjoy quite a unique experience in a vibrant downtown

From here we will have the opportunity to tour the Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens. The 65-room Tudor Revival Manor House, with its historic gardens and grounds once belonged to F. A. Seiberling, the co-founder of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.

Day two
MAPS Museum (Military Aviation and Preservation Society) to view rare military aircraft and learn the amazing stories behind the men who restored them and the missions in a dynamic presentation by General Dwight Eisenhower (impersonators)

Tour of the Pro Football Hall of Fame where we will enjoy the huge multi-million dollar museum and find our favorite player or team memorabilia, Super Bowl rings display, fabulous gift shop filled with all the NFL teams’ gear.

The President McKinley Monument and Harry London Candies

The trip includes lodging for one night, two lunches, one breakfast, one dinner, and transportation by deluxe motor coach, taxes, baggage handling, meals and guide gratuity.

The cost of this trip may be hard for some of our people living on a fixed income so we have set up two ways of paying for the trip. You may pay the full amount when making the reservation or you can make monthly payments following the schedules below. We are hoping this will make it a little easier for people who would like to take this trip. The dead line for making reservation is June13, 2015.
